Marksboro Mills Is Poppin’! (Literally)

If you’ve visited our home at Marksboro Mills lately, you know that it’s becoming a hotbed of activity. Thanks to our New American stone mill, we have a wider and more refined variety of flours than ever before, more home and professional bakers are using RVCG grain products, and Fridays have become pop-up days, when food trucks and artisans set up shop at the mill. The community response has been amazing, and we love being able to support local folks making pizza, bread, pastries, breakfast items, and other baked goods.

Recently we’ve been able to features gorgeous artisanal loaves of Jed’s Bread, sourdough breads from nearby Four Fields Farm, sweet treats by Coot’s Kitchen, and authentic baguettes made by Le French Dad Boulangerie. The first time A Slice of New Jersey served their Neapolitan-style pizza in our parking lot, they sold out almost immediately! Last week they came back and offered a presale so nobody missed out on their incredible pies.

Recently, Tacos Chicas parked their food truck at the mill, offering tasty LA street food and featuring melt-in-your-mouth churros made with RVCG pastry flour. As the weather gets warmer our schedule of events will heat up as well. Keep an eye on our Instagram so you don’t miss out on any opportunity to taste excellent food made by small businesses in our community that care about local ingredients produced sustainably. We’re feeding our neighbors and building community! It doesn’t get any better than that.
